I love this quote from A.W. Tozer so much, “What comes to our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”

I agree with it so much. What do you think about when you think about God? Specifically, when you find yourself in the position Eve was in in Genesis 3, what do you think about God?

How does He look at you when you’ve messed up?

How does He speak to you when you’ve chosen incorrectly… again?

What is your posture when you’re caught in sin, a lack of trust in God? Do you turn to Him quickly? Or, do you attempt to hide, defend, or justify?

I’m sharing two sermons with you today. I hope you can listen to both at some point during the weekend. In light of all that we've studied this week, I could not decide between these two messages. I believe the perspectives of each of these speakers will add significant thought to our study of God and Creation.

What comes to mind when you think about God? Has it changed at all as we've looked at God, our Creator? Please consider sharing your thoughts as you're able to listen to the sermons throughout the weekend. You can place them in the comments below.

Ladies, I’m very proud of you. We’ve completed one week of study together. And, we’ve covered 3 of those little icons on pages 14 and 15; Creation, Man/Woman, Fall. We are well on our way to retelling the stories of the Bible in order. I'm really excited.

Creator God, thank you for creating our world from nothing. Thank you for remaining involved in the life of your creation. Thank you for continuing to create in us and around us daily. Holy Spirit, speak clearly to us as we continue to study throughout the weekend. Your goodness is amazing, and we love you!
