I want to thank you all, because you are adding so much to our study with your comments and observations each day. I love reading your thoughts. Keep it up! We’re all on this journey together.

Today, we get to join the Hebrew people as they continue their journey to freedom. I know we’ve had a lot of reading from the book this week. With so much Biblical ground to cover, it’s helpful to have Angie’s summary in Woven.

Again, keep your Bible close by. I find it very helpful to follow along with the chapter titles in the Bible while I’m reading Angie’s words. You’ll be able to see where these stories are found in your copy of God’s Word. The Bible is not going to seem so huge and overwhelming once we are finished, and we have memory of the stories unfold from start to finish.

Father God, increase our endurance as we study through your Word. Increase our ability to see and understand Your plan. We know Your plans are good and prosperous but sometimes we forget. As we study the Israelite nation, we are asking that You help us see ourselves in their unbelief, rebellion, and stubbornness. We ask that You’d cause us to see our own tendency to sin in their failures. Strengthen us by Your Word. We trust You! Amen.
