Things I have been thankful for this year that I’ve written down based on the hope (my word for the year) of His promises. I am thankful for the hope I have in Him while I wait for His salvation… Lamentations 3:25-26 I am thankful that He is my hope as an anchor for my soul…Hebrews 6:19 I am thankful that our sufferings produce hope and that hope does not put us to shame…Romans 5:3-5 I am thankful for the hope in which we glory…Hebrews 3:6b I am thankful that my hope is in You…Psalm 39:7 I am thankful that there is a future hope for me and my hope will not be cut off…Proverbs 23:18

This has been a hard year for all of us, some more than others. But what 2020 opened my eyes to, 2021 has confirmed that I’m on the right path to Truth. And for that I am very thankful. I am thankful for all that God has led me to and for the peace that came with it. I know that’s not the way to describe this last year and a half – PEACE, but that’s what He has given me. In fact, I’ve never felt more peaceful than I have this year. Not because things have gone right (losing my 5 jobs was not fun) nor that I was blessed to be surrounded by people during this transition (not fun to be a single empty nester during a forced isolation) but God… I mean, what a better time to be alive than to be able to be at home alone with God to have nothing to do but pour into His words and find Truth and seeing bible prophecies coming to life right in front of you?! Right?!! So none of this woe is me stuff, what a wonderful time to be alive for such a time as this. My word for the year was hope. I didn’t realize how important that word would be to get me through but I am THANKFUL that God brought it to me. So I share these few verses with you that showed my thankfulness to Him.

Dear God, we are so thankful to not only have each other here in this group but we are forever thankful that You came to die for us so that we have a hope in knowing where our permanent home is. And that is where we aim to be, dwelling in the hope with You forever. Please always keep us thankful in all circumstances.
