Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
What a glorious time to celebrate with anticipation the birth of Your child. We come to You with hands raised in praise for who You are and why You came. Fill us with the joy, the love, the peace , the hope that this season offers so others may see Your light shining. Use these days before Christmas to speak loudly through us to all those that do not know this Good News You bring. As we celebrate this particular Christmas in a different way, may we clearly recognize You are the one BIG gift we desperately need that has already been purchased. No in-person or on-line shopping necessary. You truly are the reason for this season. Amen
