Rejoice in God's Promises
Week's Focus: Forgiveness
TODAY'S PROMISE VERSE: "The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities." Psalm 103:8-10
REASON TO REJOICE: Rejoice in God's compassionate nature, as described in today's verse. He is slow to anger, abounding in love, and does not deal with us as our sins deserve. This compassion includes His willingness to forgive our sins.
