March to the Cross

Sunday, April 4 Jesus: The Risen King Focus: Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came early in the morning to the tomb where Jesus was laid, and the tomb was EMPTY. An angel told them He had risen from the dead; they ran and told the disciples the Good News.

Today’s verses:

Luke 24:5-6 “Why do you seek the living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen.”

Psalm 30:4-5 Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

We marched to the cross together...and now here we are at the EMPTY TOMB!

Soul Sisters, I would love to sing and dance with you right now. Jesus, our risen King, defeated sin and death once and for all. He now reigns in heaven, and also in our hearts for all who believe. Let's raise our hands in VICTORY together, claiming this truth in our lives each and every day.

Even though our March to the Cross devotional is finished, our journey with Him remains. What are you going to do with this Good News?

Dear Lord, You conquered sin and the grave. We stand with you in victory, now and for all eternity. Give us a driving desire to share your freedom to those who are in bondage and your Life to those who are dying to hear it. Amen.
