“Looking for Lovely”

Wednesday, June 14th

Today, we will read the last chapter of section one in our book. Next week we get to move into the section titled, “In Search of Lovely.” Before we move on, though, I hope you’ve collected some moments that are beautiful even in “the absence of lovely.” If we will cooperate, God does gorgeous work in the dark, messy, even ugly spaces of our life. Let’s not miss it.

I will offer you no extra words for today’s assignment. Chapter 4, “Looking for Lovely,” is a little longer. Also, Annie turns teacher more than writer in this chapter. I want to leave the discussion between you and her. Please give us your thoughts in the comment section. I’d love to hear your take-aways. Then, we’ll meet back here tomorrow to dig into the scripture she offers in the chapter.
