"Looking for Lovely"

Happy, happy Friday, ladies. I feel like today marks the true end of summer. It looks like nearly everyone will be back in school on Monday. I know teachers have been back and some communities have already sent kids back. By next week, though, I believe everyone will have returned to a true Fall schedule.

WOW! How does it always go so quickly?

We still have a couple of weeks left of our summer book club, though. You do not want to miss the wrap-up to Annie’s writing. I think it’s going to be special.

Today, I’ve gone back to an episode of “That Sounds Fun” from before the summer. I enjoyed this discussion between Annie and CeCe Winans on perseverance and leaving a legacy. I hope you do too.

God, give us rest this weekend. Use our time away from work to solidify some of the things we’ve read and heard this week. Force us to slow down and see what You want us to see for our good and Your glory. Amen.
