"Looking for Lovely"

“A true athlete will be disciplined in every respect, practicing constant self-control in order to win a laurel wreath that quickly withers. But we run our race to win a victor’s crown that will last forever.” (1 Corinthians 9:25, TPT)

Happy Fourth of July! Right now, I’m praying you are finding many ways to celebrate FREEDOM today.

Yesterday, Annie taught us that grace gives us the freedom to pause. She said there is lovely to be found in taking a break. We are going to practice that right here. On our mission to look for lovely, we will not quit. But, we are going to pause.

All I’m asking you to do today is reflect. While you’re visiting family and friends, shooting fireworks, or eating a watermelon, consider your life. Where do you need to pause so that you do not quit? Do it! Make the decision to take a break and thank God for the freedom His grace offers. Pausing is not quitting, girls. This mindset is revolutionary!

Amen.
