From the Soul Sisters' Gathering

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

During our first session at the Soul Sisters' Gathering this past weekend we sat in a circle and talked about FAITH!

Each of us in the group were/are different: different ages, different backgrounds, different areas, different hobbies, different talents, different likes, different dislikes, different heights, different weights, different skin tones, different styles, etc...

However - there was one way we were all alike - and it was the only thing that mattered... FAITH! Our FAITH in Jesus is what brought us together and connected us. And when you focus on that FAITH - nothing else really matters.

I shared one of my favorite quotes, "A true friend not only cheers you up, they cheer you on!" We discussed the blessing that it is to share our joys and burdens with the women of faith in our lives!

The best part of this session was sitting together, shoulder to shoulder, and taking our connections to the next level through introductions, praises, and prayers.

So today, we'd like to invite you to share and connect virtually...

What prayers are heavy on your heart today? We'd be so honored to lift you up in our prayers.

Jesus - our FAITH is in Him - He is the thread that weaves us together as Soul Sisters!

Dear Heavenly Father, oh how we love You! Thank You for all the women of FAITH in our lives, our Soul Sisters. Thank You for the opportunities to come together and grow closer to You. Help us remember that YOU are The One who connects us (virtually or face-to-face) as a community of believing women so that we can share our celebrations and challenges with one another. Thank You for sweet friendships that refresh our souls. It's in Jesus' name and for the Father's glory we pray. Amen.
