Christmas Devotional
Let’s celebrate together who Jesus is and why he came!
For a child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; and the government will rest on his shoulder; and his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
And she will bear a Son, and you will call His name Jesus…for it is he who will save his people from their sins. Now all this took place that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled saying, “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they will call his name Immanuel, which translated means ‘God with us.”

My Child,
Accept me. Accept my gifts.
Jesus
God, I love imagining You asking me to accept the gifts that You give. I mean, why wouldn't I? The reality of my distrust and disbelief as a human being is the only answer. This season, wake us up to the gifts You bring. Allow the reality of Your presence to overcome our weaknesses. Give us the strength to fully surrender to You. Our hope has arrived, and we are so thankful for Jesus! Amen.
