ACTS: A Way to Pray

Monday, February 21 ACTS: A Way to Pray Micah 7:18-20 Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love. He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will show faithfulness to Jacob and steadfast love to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old. Adoration: Heavenly and most Gracious Father, You and only You are a God that pardons every sin for each one of us. You continue to have compassion on us when we don't deserve it. Heavenly Father, there will never be anyone that can do for us what you do; you are the God beyond compare. I praise you for your majesty and glory . Confession: Please forgive that I don't take enough time to admit to you my wrongdoings and ask for your forgiveness. Forgive me for putting other things ahead of my time with you and for sweeping my wrongs under the rug when I know I need to ask for your forgiveness. Forgive that I loose sight and think this world is about me when I know it’s about you. Thanksgiving: Thank you, my God for completely wiping away my sin by your steadfast love and conquering power. Thank you that your word says you delight in me! Thank you for the compassion you continually show me. I am grateful that you are slow to anger and quick to love. Thank you for your faithfulness that never grows weary even when I disappoint . Supplication: Today I ask that you will reveal your steadfast love to me in a way I cannot miss. I pray that you will keep my heart tethered to yours so I can feel that love. Help me to live like I am chosen and loved and teach me how to forgive, love, and have compassion for others . Use these verses and ACTS to write your own personal prayer in your journal. Can you think of a particular moment in your life where God clearly revealed his steadfast love he has for you ?
