Luke 23: 44-46
"It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, 'Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.' When he had said this, he breathed his last."
I trust You.
I know that You've got me.
Those are sobering and convicting statements. Do I trust Him? Do I know that He's got me..... no matter what?
Do you?
Jesus was literally staring into the face of death. But, without panic or fear, He gently acknowledged that God could be trusted with His life. Darkness had taken over. There was no light to be seen. But, Jesus wasn't without hope. He knew He could trust His father. So, that's exactly what He did..... In a verbal way.
Today, I feel very convicted to ask you to sit and think about WHY you can trust your Father with these impossible prayers. If we turn our attention and focus to Him, we will rest in His love and provision.
So, ladies, will you join me? Can we blow up this post with statements about God's faithfulness? If we are going to trust God to move and to work in all of our circumstances, we need to know that He can be trusted. How do you know that? What have you seen God accomplish?
Ready, set, GO!
