Day Four
Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! Let it be done just as you
believed it would." And his servant was healed at that moment.
(Matthew 8:13)
Hello sisters and happy Thursday . I am so delighted to be back
posting and sharing together.
I looked up the focus verse in The Message version. It says,"Go. What
you believed could happen has happened." At that moment his servant
became well." (Matthew 8:13). To me this version clearly defines
what's going on in this story. In both versions, we are commanded to
"GO". We are not told to try harder to fix the problem, pontificate
more on what the problem is, or tirelessly worry about the situation.
We are told to just GO! Directly after this command , we are told to
believe. Jesus is the One who has the authority to fix whatever the
problem is and all the spinning around we tend to do does NOT help in
any way. Today Kit has written "clearly identify the problem; then
hold it up to the power of Jesus and His authority." Are you starting
to see how BIG He is? Do you feel any freedom in that? He has got
this, ladies. He has got both the biggest of big problems and the
tiniest of tiny problems. It's our job to hold them out in prayer and
trust in His power. So give Him the impossible you have in your heart.
Our prayers may not be answered right away and they may never be
answered the way we think they should be. However we can be assured
every prayer we pray is heard by Him. Nothing goes unnoticed. The way
He chooses to answer is up to Him. He wants what is best for us
always. It's all in His timing and according to His will. Our job is
to identify the need and lift it up to Him. As we begin talking to Him
with our requests, we will experience a deepening in our relationship
with Jesus. We can be assured communicating with our Lord is indeed
His will. I believe one of the deepest needs all humans have is to be
KNOWN by someone. Really Known. If no one else in this world wants to
invest in you, You can be assured Jesus does. He wants relationship
with you. He already knows you better than you will ever know yourself.
He wants you to know Him; so spill out all those requests. Pour your
hearts out to him with the impossible. As Kit says, pray something you
have never dared or dreamed of praying. Pray over that stronghold that
you cannot seem to escape. Do it with the confidence that He hears, He
cares, and He answers.
What have you go to loose?

Heavenly Father,
We come to you today in awe of how much You love us. You care about
every detail big and small and always want what is best for us.
Father, we ask today that You break these strongholds that we
individually bring to You. Your word says, "He brought them out of
darkness and the shadow of death And broke their bands apart"(Psalm
107:14). Today we ask You to do exactly that. We put all our trust and
faith in You, Mighty God. We claim You can and will do the impossible.
Amen
