He WILL provide healing and restoration

Week 2: The I AM says HE WILL Provide Day 2: He WILL provide healing and restoration

Isaiah 57:18-19

I have seen his ways, but I WILL heal him; I WILL lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners, creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near,” says the Lord, “and I WILL heal him.”

Do you have a wall or desk calendar? If so, you may be marking off the days of the year and you may know that today is the 78th day of the year. It is a brand-new day. It is not the same as yesterday. Even though it is a new day, there is one thing that is guaranteed; every day our Heavenly Father cares for us and blesses us in more ways than we notice or imagine. Today God can bring healing and wholeness. Nothing is impossible for Him. Today is a new day. No matter, what we’ve done or what we haven’t done He loves us and forgives us. As Madelaine mentioned yesterday, He is with us 24/7 and is mighty to save.

Psalm 34:17-18 gives us assurance that the Lord hears our prayers when we are in troubling times. He desires for us to come to Him with a humble heart that looks to Him for mercy. And…The words we read from Isaiah today remind us that God will heal, “creating praises”.

Although we flip the pages on our calendar and our days change, God sure doesn’t. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Throughout the Bible, there is evidence of God’s active involvement with His people. Healing and restoring is one of the many ways in which God, in His mercy, was active in the lives of His people. God healed then, God heals now, and God will continue to heal. In Hebrews 10:23 we are reminded that we must hold unswervingly to our hope, for our God is faithful to His promises.

People are healed daily. Beyond the physical, emotional and spiritual restorations are just as much of a healing as blind eyes being opened. There have been testimonies, right here within our Soul Sisters Ministry group, of addictions being over turned, financial situations resolved, marriages restored, lives being changed, and bodies healed…. all in His time! Surrender, repent and remain faithful. Keep the faith, no matter the circumstance!!

Whether it’s our hearts, finances, relationships or lives that need mending, we should trust that God always has a plan to heal and restore. Although none of us know God’s exact plans for our futures, we know He is good and restoring hearts and lives are part of His plan. Nothing is too difficult for the Lord to restore. He makes beauty from ashes. He WILL do it, because He said so.

Dear Heavenly Father,

You know my every thought, worry, pain and areas where I desperately long for healing and restoration. Lord, I want to surrender those to You, and place them at the foot of the cross. I ask You to help me have a strong, joyous, unwavering, faith as I wait for Your goodness, whatever that may look like. I want to trust You, Your ways, Your plans and Your timing today and forever.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
